Launch message: Meet the new Afrowoman

Black woman in the office
Facebooktwitterlinkedinmail

Hi, how are you? A short while ago I emailed you to say some new things are coming and were going to change with the Afrowoman’s ezine.com.

Well here it is – she has a new name: Afrowoman Online.com – with a new focus:  Elevating & Empowering Professional Black Women Online.

Why the change?

As a black woman in business and social media, I know how difficult it can be to find the support you need to keep going professionally; whether this is to build a career or run a business. Being able to support other black women in these areas is important to me and was at the heart of the previous website and will continue to be there in Afrowoman Online.com.

So what can you expect?

I’ll still be writing about the lifestyle issues we face (like this article about Serena Williams), but as Afrowoman Online is an online magazine and website with a strong social media presence, this provides me with a great opportunity to share with you tips on being more effective on social media (or how to use it if you haven’t started!).

As you are working women and some of you are business owners, social media is an area we can’t avoid and does have great uses for work and business (honest J )

I’ll email you again (soon) when my first article is ready. But in the meantime, take a look Afrowoman Online and let me know what you think.

I also filmed a short video to tell you more, so take a look here:

Thanks for all your time and attention – and I look forward to catching up with you soon.

Esther – CEO & Editor-in-Chief,

Afrowoman Online.com
