I watched the Roots remake recently and you can watch my video on why I did. It wasn’t easy to watch the brutality our ancestors went through. Did you watch it?

Why did I watch it?

Maybe it’s because some of the problems we go through today are linked to slavery. Watching this wasn’t easy but I’m reminded of the strength our ancestors had and the choice we have today – because they survived.
