Taking some time out…

Time out
Facebooktwitterlinkedinmail

Dear Black women How are you? I hope you had a Blessed #Wellnesswednesday last week. My usual self-care post for you was delayed due to a bereavement – my brother died recently, so as you can imagine there is a lot to deal with right now. Initially, I think I was in ‘auto-pilot’ mode – keeping busy. Not wanting to think too much but trying to process it all. But I had to accept that I needed to stop, slow down and take time to think about things properly.

Taking some time out

The biggest thing I realised was that I needed to take the advice I give to you ladies – to stop, listen to my mind and body. To give my mind and emotions the time and space to grieve. To give myself permission to have downtime and let my mind process what’s happened.

See you in September

So, as I take this time to support my family and take much needed time and rest, I may not reply to your messages quickly but the brand will continue to support you with messaging and content.

Stay Blessed & well & I’ll see you later in September.
